Yesterday we managed to film the majority of our answer, but it did take us a long time as we kept messing up and ended up writing on the board behind the camera so that we were able to read it whilst being filmed, and so that the camera wouldn't see the script. Once we had done this, the filming went a lot more smoothly, and during our first lesson today we managed to film the rest of the answer!
In our second free of the day Amy and I imported the footage onto iMovie and the exported it into final cut where we began our editing process. We managed to cut out all of our voicing mistakes, as we did find it hard not to laugh :) Amy and I then proceeded to download some YouTube Videos, for example 'The Fray - How To Save A Life' so that we were able to use it throughout our evaluation when we talk about how we were originally going to do the idea of how to save a life.
Finally, Amy and I got the original script for the answer to question 4, and started to annotate it with ideas of what we could possibly put on screen with us during the evaluation answer. After doing this we went on to download a series of images for the first paragraph, and then imported them into final cut so that we were able to use them as part of our evaluation!
So far we have edited in a few clips and images, but this is how much we have done over all:
P.S. Below is a draft version of our evaluation, including all question answers apart from the one we've been working on this week! Sadly we couldn't import the answer question 4 as a powerpoint, as it just came up as another Prezi, and we can't really use that technology again! So instead as it is the last question, we have inserted it as a hyperlink, which when clicked will take you to our Slideshare of the powerpoint we made! Also. another issue we had with this answer was that we made our powerpoint very technical, with lot's of transitions, effects, etc.. but when we proceeded to upload it onto Slideshare (and some other powerpoint webpages) all the effects and transitions didn't work. Because of this, Amy and I had to edit our powerpoint and remove all the effects so that anyone watching would be able to clearly see all our text without images in the way.
